Day Camp

Day Camps are usually the first step in a Camping program designed to introduce Cub Scouts into the outdoor learning process. Day Camps are FUN in a local outdoor setting. Day Camps are an EXCITING ADVENTURE. Cub Scout Day Camp is open to all BSA registered Cub Scouts, Scouts, or Tiger Cub Graduates who will be entering into the First Grade. Camping and the outdoors has always been an integral part of the Scouting program. In 1907, Lord Baden-Powell's first Scouting activity was a campout on Brownsea Island in England. Since 1910, millions of Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers have taken to the hills, woods, and rivers of America and the great outdoor classroom where Scouting comes alive.
