Proceeds from the 8th Annual Wild Game Dinner and Auction will be donated to the Great Lakes Council, BSA to benefit the development of the camping facilities that serve youth in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.
Our on-going mission is to encourage the positive development of our young people through Scouting programs that help instill values and prepare them to make ethical choices that allow them to achieve their full potential throughout their lifetime.
Last year, the GLC served 41,263 youth members through our traditional and Learning for Life character education programs. The Council also maintains service centers in Detroit and Waterford along with four camping facilities: Camp Agawam in Lake Orion, Cole Canoe Base in Alger, D-bar-A Scout Ranch in Metamora, and Lost Lake Scout Reservation near Clare, Michigan.

~Donate Merchandise for Auction or Make A Financial Contribution~
Over the past 7 years, this event has raised over $162,000 to help support the development of the camping program and facilities at the four camps of Great Lakes Council.
All of these funds go to our four camps for capital improvements. We are asking businesses such as yours to help underwrite the Great Lakes Council, BSA Wild Game Dinner and Auction on March 23, 2012. Contributions can be large or small, or in the form of merchandise, which can be converted into capital dollars at this event. We are a 501 C3 non-profit corporation and will recognize your donation with a letter for IRS purposes.
We depend largely upon donors like you as well as individual donations to maintain our important Scouting programs. We appreciate your generosity and will see that your company is given recognition in our program book at the event.
