Day Camp Program Director

The Great Lakes Council BSA is seeking to fill two vacancies for the position of day camp program director. The program director drives the implementation of the council’s day camp program and provides support and guidance to a volunteer day camp staff. Qualifications: Minimum age 21; previous volunteer or employed camp staff experience in Scouting or other organized youth camp is required. Also requires successful completion of BSA National Camping School day camp administration section (preference for currently trained applicants). If not currently trained, must be available for this training prior to start of employment. These are seasonal positions for the duration of June 20 through August 12, 2011. Salary:  $300-350 per week. Current BSA adult membership or eligibility to join is required. Interested persons should complete an application. Day Camp Support Staff Positions

The Great Lakes Council BSA is seeking to fill multiple vacancies in each of these seasonal day camp positions:

• Health Officer
• Siblings Program Director
• Shooting Sports (Archery & BB) Director
• Quartermaster Supply/Trading Post Director

These are seasonal positions for the duration of June 20 through August 12, 2011. Qualifications: Minimum age 18; good work history; preference for prior experience as volunteer or employed staff with BSA or other organized youth camp. Potential salary varies by position, from $250 to $300 per week. Additional requirements noted on application form.
