WEBELOS to Scout Transition Day

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 29 for the Chippewa District WEBELOS to Scout Transition Day! The event is from 8:30am to 2:00pm at Riverbends Park at 22 Mile Rd & Park Rd, Shelby Twp., MI 48317 This annual event is a fun way to introduce WEBLOS to Boy Scouting and a fun way for WEBELOS parents to see Boy Scouts in action! If you have a WEBELOS II or WEBELOS I den in the Chippewa District, register your WEBELOS Scouts to participate. If you have a Boy Scout troop, register to participate in the recruiting event by running a station.

Chippewa District Pack Unit Leaders

I hope all of you are having a wonderful and exciting summer!  It is coming to that time of year again where I need some information from you in order to make certain we provide you with the right support and information you need to have successful Join Scouting Nights this fall.

If you already have your Join Scouting Night scheduled could you PLEASE send me the date, time and location of this event.  Also PLEASE let me know when your boy talks will be taking place.  You should be able to start putting orders in for flyer here in the next coming weeks.  The sooner we get on this the easier it is to ensure you have your flyers and materials.  If you order them in time we can bring them to the upcoming kick-off.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:

• Thursday August 23 - Chippewa District JSN Kick-Off - You will meet your team and receive all JSN Materials. HOTDOGS, Chips and a Drink provided: Trinity Lutheran Church |45160 Van Dyke Ave, Utica 7:00 p.m.
• Tuesday September 11- Join Scouting Night Fall Campaign Begins!!!
• Thursday September 13 - District Roundtable
• Saturday September 29  - Webelos Transition - Riverbends Park, Shelby Twp. 9-2pm. REGISTER HERE
