Great Lakes Council Mission & Vision

Mission Statement	The mission of the Great Lakes Council and Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Vision Statement	The Great Lakes Council, Boy Scouts of America, is an acknowledged leader for youth advocacy in Southeast Michigan. It provides premier, relevant, values based programs that demonstrate service, are operationally excellent, and create positive impacts on our youth and our communities.
