As a unit leader, your youth leadership may be asking you, "Where can we go during fall, winter, and spring weekends?" The answer is: The same place they go for summer camp: "Cole Canoe Base."

Cole Canoe Base is one of four of Great Lakes Council that offers an exciting program specifically designed with the weekend unit in mind. Weekend programs occur each weekend from the last weekend in August through the second week in June. The staff at Cole Canoe Base are eager to serve your unit and make your stay one filled with fun, adventure, and excitment.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Great Lakes Council camps are looking for some dedicated people to volunteer out at the camps. We are always in the need for people to run our shooting sports ranges, wranglers, climbing staff, food service help, or be camp-masters. If you are interested in volunteering at camp, please contact . If we could get everybody to volunteer just one weekend a year, we would be able to offer all programs every weekend. Prior experience is not required, we will train.
